Goudey offers 5 stock colours of paste wood fillers to stain and fill the pores of deep profiled open grained woods such as walnut, mahogany, oak and ash in one application. This product is best suited for table tops, buffet tops, credenzas, wood guitars, desks, coffee & end tables and bedroom furniture. This product is not suitable for floors.
This product is best applied by using a stiff bristle brush or cheese cloth to work it across the wood grain and assertively into the open wood pores. Allow the product to set up for 15-20 minutes then assertively rub off all the excess filler across the grain preferably with a coarse cloth (burlap, tobacco cloth) or cheese cloth. Allow 8 hours for product to dry before staining, if desired, with Goudey Solvent Based Wiping Stain or top coating with Solvent or Alkyd based coatings. Allow 24 hours before top coating with Waterborne or Acrylic based coatings.
