This type of lacquer is most commonly referred to as regular lacquer, traditional lacquer, or simply NC lacquer. NC lacquers are commonly used for antique restoration and refinishing, reproduction of classic furniture styles, refurbishing older furniture, vintage guitar finishing, pianos and interior general millwork. NC lacquers are not recommended for use in kitchens or bathrooms. Pre-catalyzed or post catalyzed lacquers are more appropriate for this.

Premium Pale Lacquers (NC10-0107, NC90-0106)

This series of NC lacquer is offered in flat and gloss versions and has been formulated to minimize the ambering effect when sprayed over stains such as whites, pastels, and reds while still providing a fast drying, high solids film build with excellent clarity.

This product can be reduced with 788 Lacquer Thinner and sealed with  Premium Pale Sanding Sealer (NCPPS). This product line is also formulated for use as blending lacquers to make an unlimited range of solid colour and semi transparent custom coloured lacquers using UTC 866 Universal Tint Colorants.

Water White Clear Lacquers (905, 910, 953, 987)

This series of NC lacquers offers a fast drying medium solids film build with excellent clarity and sanding properties while having only a minimal ambering effect on light coloured wood stains.

Reduce with 788 Lacquer Thinner. Seal with NCPPS- Premium Pale Sanding Sealer.

Clear Gloss Lacquer (918)

This product offers a fast drying medium solids film build with a pale ambering effect over light coloured stains. Reduce with 788 Lacquer Thinner. Seal with 831 Sanding Sealer or 860 High Solid Sanding Sealer

Clear Gloss Table Top Lacquer (951)

This product offers a fast drying high solids film build that has been specially formulated to provide the best properties for hand rubbing and polishing. Reduce with 788 Lacquer Thinner. Seal with 860 High Solid Sanding Sealer or 831 Sanding Sealer.

High Solid Gloss, Flat, Satin Lacquers (989- 990- 995)

This series of NC lacquers has been formulated to offer a fast drying, high solids film build with excellent clarity and sanding properties. This series features a distinctive pale ambering effect that is necessary for reproducing a classic warm vintage lacquer look. Reduce with 788 Lacquer Thinner. Seal with 860 High Solid Sanding Sealer or 831 Sanding Sealer.

Clear Gloss Metal Lacquer (911)

This product has been formulated for use on interior metal furniture, metal fixtures such as lamp bases, and hardware for furniture. Reduce with 788 Lacquer Thinner. This product may be tinted using the UTC 866 Universal Tinting Colorants to produce an unlimited range of solid colour interior metal lacquers. See Services.
